ASSESSMENT PROCEDURES
Periodic Test (10 marks):
The school conducts four periodic written tests in the entire academic year and the average will be taken. The gradually increasing portion of contents would prepare our students to acquire confidence for appearing in the Board examination with 100% syllabus.
Notebook Submission (5 marks):
School ensures Notebook submission as a part of internal assessment is aimed at enhancing seriousness of students towards preparing notes for the topics being taught in the classroom as well as assignments. This also addresses the critical aspect of regularity, punctuality, neatness and notebook upkeep. School conducts notebook scrutiny regularly and formal evaluation happens twice in a year and the marks are added up with terminal assessments.
Subject Enrichment Activities (5 marks):
These are subject specific application activities aimed at enrichment of the understanding and skill development. These activities are to be recorded internally by respective subject teachers happens twice in a year and the marks are added up with terminal assessments.
Term assessment
Term Assessment is carried out at the end of a term. It measures or ‘sums up’ how much a student has learned from the course. It, at best, certifies the level of achievement only at a given point of time. Term wise progress report will reflect 80% from the term assessments.
Competence/Value assessment
The school conducts competence /value assessments regularly to enhance the learning skills. School deems necessary for its students to be prepared for their next stage of education through competence-based assessment. Competency-based assessment is criterion based.
